Holiday Bokeh #3: Obsessed with Bokeh!

 Wednesday, December 15, 2010

Ok I promise not to only post bokeh shots from here into eternity but there were still a few things I wanted to try and high on my list was colored bokeh! I finally got some colored lights to play with and since Sereina Charise's Christmas theme of the week is Christmas foods I grabbed some yummy Christmas cookies too!

What do you think? I don't think I love it quite as much as Let it Snow picture, but its still fun.  The thing is, with my Let it Snow picture, in order to get the background white I desaturated all the red and yellow out of the picture.  I couldn't do that with this picture because I would lose all my color! But I think it still works.  Though it makes me want to try colored lights with a black background...hmmm....stay tuned!

That's gorgeous! Great job with the bokeh! I attempted some bokeh this week with my new Christmas tree ornament, but the lowest setting I can get to with my lens is F3.5.

These are beautiful! I absolutely love the bokeh. Awesome shots.

Wow! I love these shots with the sort of muted bokeh. Those cookies looks like the sugar cookies from Wal-Mart. Jason and I call them crack cookies because we used to be seriously addicted to them.

Thanks for entering my giveaway and becoming a follower!

Oh, I love it! And I think I like it even more than the Let It Snow picture...but then I have a thing for colored Christmas lights so maybe that's just me. ;-)

Jaymi, I LOVE these! Ahhhh! I've only tried with white lights in the background (except for a couple shots of Drew's tree)...but nothing in the foreground on those. Definitely want to try some colored lights now! These are fantastic! :-)
