Touch-Up Tuesday - Roller Skates

I love this shot I got of Tracy's roller skates!  This shot is pretty much SOOC but maybe with some slight brightness/contrast adjustment.

-Created a Photo Filter Adjustment layer and selected the pink in her skates as the color of the filter.  This gave it a very subtle pink tint.
-I added this texture pink grungy layer I found on the internet for free a while back (wish I could remember where but I'm pretty sure it started with googling "free textures."

-I added the texture twice, once with a soft light blending mode and once with an overlay blending mode.

-I used my paintbrush in white and black at a low opacity to lighten the texture around the skates and bring back detail. That brought me to this:

I really like how it came out, and I think the grunginess of the photo works with the roller skates. I really like the picture SOOC too, but I think the texture adds a bit of "fun" to it!

Also, I posted this picture a while back but thought it would be nice for Trendy Treehouse's "Shadow" theme.
