Flowers on Saturday

 Saturday, April 2, 2011

Whenever I think I've posted everything there is to post from my macro shoot at the Pasadena Huntington Library, I come across another picture I think I should post.

I dismissed this picture originally because I didn't feel the focus was just right, and I'm REALLY picky about focus.  I felt the center of the flower needed to be in focus for this picture to work, instead of just the water drop and the edges of the petals.  But on second glance, I decided that it was pretty anyways, even if the focus wasn't exactly what I was going for.  So here it is.

Gosh, that photo almost took my breath away - stunning, and what an amazing colour! I love taking photos but I only have the CanonHD Ixus 1000. Would you recommend the Nikon D90? I have popped into your blog from Angel Perry's weekend Be Wonderful Blog hop. Hopefully you won't mind if I follow you from over here in England. Greetings!

Wow! This is beautiful! I actually really like that you've focused on the water droplet :)
