A Walk Around Outside...
Tuesday, April 12, 2011
I've been feeling fairly uninspired in my photography lately, and haven't been shooting too much. It was insanely beautiful clear, crisp, weather this weekend so I went for a walk and grabbed a few shots. But I'm really itching to get another practice portrait session done. I'm gonna have to hit up all my friends soon for some volunteers! Also, next week, I'll be going to Palm Springs for a couple nights so it will definitely be "Palm Springs Week" on my blog next week!
So here's a couple shots I grabbed this weekend...

Ashley's blog several weeks ago reminded me that to get a really good starburst you need a tiny aperture (large number.) I think I took this shot around f/18.

I absolutely love that first shot. Probably because I like that type of flower so much. (that's probably because one of my pictures of them got published!!!) Also love the lemons! is that your tree?
Gorgeous!! Love that first one!

Sun through the trees is one of my all time favorite kinds of picture. Great job.
Yes, first photo is my favorite too!! It's beautiful! I need to get inspired to take some pictures...this post is helping... ;)
Gorgeous images! I love all of them! :)
Great shots! And I learned something, also (small aperture for good starburst - it worked, this one is terrific!). Thanks.
Wow, that first shot is gorgeous!
Great shots -- the first two are my favs! I adore the colors in the first, and the perspective. Sunflares are always a fav!
