Hollywood Hills Drive

Now for some pictures...

I decided to go for a drive through the Hollywood Hills this weekend.  I had always heard there was a large reservoir up Lake Hollywood Drive and I thought I'd go check it out.  I have to admit my jaw dropped a bit when I saw it, I had no idea such a large body of water was hiding up in these hills and I love seeing the view of Hollywood behind it.



I so wish the sun was setting off in the distance in this picture instead of behind me (though that did cast a nice warm light on everything.) I may have to drive up here for sunrise one morning just to get the sun peaking over the horizon in this shot!

While I was up there I happened upon a little dog park, just under the Hollywood sign!

And around the corner from there was an awesome view of the Hollywood sign. For some reason, I always like Hollywood sign pictures in black and white!



After my little tour, I drove up through Mulholland Drive to watch the sunset. I love seeing the rolling hills of the valley in this shot, and of course all the colors in the sky.
