A week or so ago I went out to Santa Monica to take some pictures for this post on Silhouettes. I posted the best silhouettes but was looking through again and realized there were a few other shots I liked from that shoot too that deserved some light. I love going back and finding pictures that I originally deemed "un-postable" and finding something I love about them.
I love how every sunset is different. I love how this one started out really orange, and then turned really blue.
This was one of my jumping silhouette outtakes. I missed the jump in the shot, but I still love how she is just running freely on the beach.
This shot sorta amazes me. I took it with my 85mm Macro lens and I love seeing how the sun meets the horizon in the last few seconds of a sunset.
I also took this with my 85mm of the Santa Monica Pier. You hear a lot about "golden light" photography, but this is the epitome of the "blue hour" when the sky gets bright blue right after sunset. I love how the lights from the Ferris Wheel pop.
Just thought I'd share a few shots that I originally overlooked :)
