Patriotic Cheesecake Bites and Firework Cupcakes

 Saturday, July 7, 2012

We had an awesome party for the 4th of July and I wanted to share some of the sweet treats I made for the party.  First was these awesome cheesecake bites, which may have been the best cheesecake I've ever made.  The crust was unbelievable.  Though I skipped the topping crumble in the recipe and opted for fresh berries instead.  I also made some red velvet cupcakes with some cute little firework toppers I found at Michaels :) I did't have much time before the party to really set anything up for these pics so I just shot a few real quick.

Ok, I admit the red velvet cupcakes were from a mix, but if you like cheesecake, you seriously have to check out this recipe for cheesecake bars because, they're amazing!

I really love your food photography. That cupcake shot (second to last) should be in a magazine. You should send some work to Better Homes and Gardens.
