First off, I want to let you guys know about a company my good friend Kristin works for called Working for Green. They're doing awesome work raising awareness about the environment and are trying to get their facebook page some traffic! So please click the icon below to head over to their facebook page and click "like"--they share awesome tips for healthy eating, and easy ways to help the environment!

Ok, so I wanted to share a few more pics from my recent vacation. The first week my boyfriend and I stayed at a house his family owns on Salt Spring Island, which is off of Vancouver in the Gulf Islands. It was so beautiful and peaceful!
I love how the light is streaming through the trees here.

There was a beautiful lavender farm on the island!

This was some of the forest around the house.

This was the view from the back of the house at sunset.

And this was the view from the house during the day.

The shoreline was covered with purple starfish!

Oh and someone asked me what I used to hold my gear when I travel. I use the Lowepro Fastpack 350

Oh that Lavender is so pretty and the focus in your photo is just wonderful.
Loved all the gorgeous scenery too.
Peaceful and gorgeous! My favorite is the path through the tall trees with sunlight pouring down. You must feel refreshed in spirit when you spend time in this beautiful area!
Gosh, your photos are amazing! That looks like such a wonderfully serene place to stay a while.
That starfish image is unreal. Love it! So is Salt Spring Island close to the San Juans in Washington? Looks like it.
And I love my Lowepro bag. So glad I upgraded before our last trip to Asia. - Keryn @ Walkingon Travels

How on earth do you get the light ray to show up so clearly in your first photo? That's something I've been trying to accomplish for years! It always gets lost! Great photos :)
