Click It Up A Notch: Alyssa's Maternity Preview

Its been a while since I've submitted to Click it up a Notch's monthly photo contest.  It challenges you to pick your best shot of the month and to push yourself to always improve.  It usually too hard for me to narrow down to a shot, but this month, this image stood out to me.

I shot a maternity session at Pasadena City Hall a few days ago, and I challenged myself to push out of my comfort zone and to try to find some creative compositions and lighting.  Because the architecture where we were was so stunning and I pushed myself to include it a lot more than I normally would in a shoot.
