Sunrise in NYC

 Sunday, September 16, 2012

So I'm one week in to my 6 week road trip with my new job.  It's been fun, despite the 18 hour work days and no sleep!

The hardest part is I've been in NY since Wednesday, and I haven't had any time to go take pictures!

This is pretty much the only picture I've taken, which is through the window of the venue we are working out of!  It was right at sunrise, over Columbus Circle...

NYC Sunrise

And I don't do black and white pictures nearly as often as I feel I should, but I just love pictures of New York in black and white...so here it is again...

It looks as though I may have a day off on Tuesday in the city, so I look forward to wandering around for hours with my camera!

Gorgeous. I love how NYC absolutely sparkles when you look at the skyline - no matter what time of day!

Beautiful photo! If you can go online and book a ticket for the 911 Memorial Site. It was the highlight of my trip there last fall and something everyone should have a chance to experience. Enjoy!

Well, if you could only get one shot, this was a great one! Hope you get to enjoy your time out with your camera...I love going on "dates" with mine!

gorgeous silhouette of the skyline...I think I prefer the color though! The windows/faces of the buildings add dimension and the color of the sunrise really add a mood that you only feel early in the quiet morning!

I so happy for you that you are out traveling & doing these amazing things with a new job. I'm sorry to hear that you have not been able to explore though. But that is great that you might get a chance soon. Can't wait to see those.
