Cheese Board

 Tuesday, February 12, 2013

So I found on Amazon this really cool Slate Cheese Tray that you can write on with chalk! I thought it would make a fun food photography back drop.  And since I made some yummy Kumquat Marmalade recently, I thought it was the perfect time for a Marmalade and Cheese photo shoot!

Kumquat Marmalade & Brie

The Marmalade was so yummy with Brie!

It's so fun labeling the cheese with chalk!

I had to stand on my kitchen table to get the overhead shots!

I highly recommend picking one of these cheese boards up! They make excellent backdrops if you're interested in food photography--or if you have wine and cheese parties!

First, I always love wine and cheese board images. Secondly, I love the dark food photography you've been doing. The slate is perfect!

That first picture is just perfect! I love when you first look at a picture because it catches your eye, only to notice more is going on than you first thought. Took me a couple seconds to realize that both the elements and the finished product were present in the photo. Great composition!

I love the blue board -- with the chalk. Awesome! The first photo is my favorite, but I like all of them. I love how you have 3 almonds in the midst of the cheese and fruit and marmalade.
